"There is no active threat to the community, Columbus police said." Except the Columbus police.
if this 'officer' had not been lethally armed for a fucking welfare check, this kid would still be alive.
"The Columbus Police Department was conducting a welfare check on a subject following a report of potential self-harm," Nebraska State Patrol said in a press release.
"We made sure that the subject did not chicken out of his threat."
- They went heavy on the serve part and totally gave zero protect part.
In China, attempted suicide is punishable by death if found guilty. In USA, they skip the trial.
This is why you don't call the fucking cops. ACAB

There's no bad situation you can't make worse by calling the police.
