  • French toast is always the best option! This is making me want to make some French toast right now!

  • I don’t really like the sweet breakfast pastry concept. I guess waffles, preferable cornmeal or Belgian waffles. I’d much rather have a breakfast burrito with green chile or huevos rancheros though.

  • I have no idea why but my brain added "in bed" to the title and I was like "all those have drippy syrup. I don't want any of those in bed."

I would get waffles, but not those waffles. Gimme the Belgium waffles with the strawberries and whipped cream 🤤

  • Flat Food propaganda! Don't fall for this thinly disguised attempt to lead you away from the one truly spherical breakfast or anytime food, namely Aebleskivers. Eat them sweet or savory, eat them all day long!

  • If I am cooking, French Toast because I can ensure quality. If my wife is cooking, Belgian Waffles because the waffle iron prevents user error. If I am at a restaurant, pancakes because they are always different and very few places make them in a way I dislike.

  • French toast. I've developed a terrible (as in, frighteningly bad for you) and amazing recipe by cranking up the fat content from other recipes and adding a little more spice.

6-8 slices of bread (decently thick Italian bread is what I usually use, but obviously French bread is good for French toast) 4 eggs 4 Tbsp butter ¼ cup half & half 1 Tbsp real maple syrup (don't you dare use fake stuff) 1 tsp cinnamon ½ tsp vanilla extract ¼ tsp nutmeg

Leave the eggs and butter out so they get to room temperature. If the butter isn't super soft, melt it.

Whisk everything (except the bread) together well. If the ingredients are too cold, the butter will solidify in chunks. It's also a good idea to whisk between batches to keep everything evenly suspended. Dunk the bread slices for good coverage and cook them up on a griddle or pan preheated to medium heat until lightly brown on both sides. Top the finished product with maple syrup or vanilla ice cream. Or both. Schedule a cardiologist visit. Enjoy.

  • Waffles, but I have celiac so made of blue corn masa. If you haven't tried it, get some! It's amazing with blueberries, plus your house smells like popcorn as it's cooking.

  • I'm gonna go with ham and cheese on an English muffin.

I know you asked me to choose between the three images, but Anarchy! Fight the power!
