They should not use discord in my opinion. That's a closed ecosystem, known for horrendous privacy violation.
However they even opened mastodon instance
and have somewhat good api but i still support the view that discord has horrible privacy. Even it shouldnt be monetized ( because of server boosts and nitro ).
