Yes, they have been shit for years, with Amazon buying them, CBP using them in defiance of FOIA laws.

And before Amazon bought it, it was owned in part by Eric Prince, a POS in his own right. Really, there was no point at which Wickr was known for being anything but bad, so good riddance to bad software.
