Afternoon everyone,
I wanted to go over a few points related to pricing, stats and the roadmap
Pricing

Sync for Lemmy is completely free with ads (the same as Sync for Reddit)

You can remove ads in the account picker or drawer for a one time fee of ~$20

Sync Ultra also removes ads but it's not required

I'll be working on regional prices over the coming weeks
There are now 24k installed users up from 100 the previous day!
I'm going to be spending the next few days going through all of the comments / messages and fixing any crashes.

I think this setting should be on by default if sidebar navigation is turned on. It's a real game changer for this app in my opinion!
Settings shortcut: Experimental > Sliding panel style drawer
I haven't found any issues with it despite it being experimental. The only downside is that I now want it in every app that isn't Sync...
Edit: If I can make a change request. Could the search bar in the side panel be made into a pill shape like in the bottom drawer? Would modernize the look quite nicely imo.

I like being able to slide the panel out with my right hand because it allows a more comfortable range of motion rather than reaching across and swiping from the edge. It's the same reason I don't have the nav gestures on Pixel and like to use the old school buttons instead
Also agreed with the second point, I know it's a search bar but a slightly lighter bg with a pill shaped object would make it stand out more as a text field
