What is the current "favorite" show?

Right now? Silo. Every damn episode of that first season was perfect. In a few months it will probably be Star Trek Lower Decks again.

Silo is fantastic. If you need another great show on Apple TV, watch Severance. It’s the best show I’ve seen in years.
- I wish I could wipe my memory of Severance and watch it again for the first time again.

Current? Star Trek Strange new Worlds and Good Omens 2

I'm horrified about good omens 2 and have not started it yet. If I remember correctly the first good omens was an adaptation of the entire book?

So they continue the story after the book? Without Pratchett? I'm just a little afraid.
- It's definitely different, but definitely good, and I say that as a Pratchett superfan.
  
  Neil did a really good job, and I think Tennant and Sheen's chemistry is even better this time around, which I did not think was possible.
  
  Also, Rob Wilkins, Pratchett's assistant and "curator" of his legacy is an executive producer.

We just finished, I hope there will be a spinoff because I'm not ready to finish with them all. There are still so many things for them to do, Roy Kent is the best.
I love S01 and S02, but S03 was a huge letdown for me compared with S01 and S02. Too many side stories and unnecessary new characters and important things happening off screen rather than on screen
So good I had to binge watch it all over again as soon as I finished.
I just started watching this show and was amazed how funny and heartfelt it is. Can't believe I slept on it for so long.

Letterkenny and The Good Place, with a side of The Witcher and Shoresy

Edit: Archer and B99 are always strong choices, too.

Better call Saul is the only thing I've been watching for the last couple of weeks, first time watching it.

Hah me too! I watched Breaking Bad years ago and loved it, but never tried Better Call Saul! I suspect I'm nearing the end of the series though. It's been excellent!
- I'm really envious. Watching Better Call Saul for the first time again would be magic.
  
  I'm probably on my fifth rerun or something.... It's an incredible show. I would rate these two shows as best of television ever.

Just finished The Librarians and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Onto Good Omens but have no idea how to follow this trio.

Warehouse 13 and The Librarians always scratched similar itches for me.

Season 1 of Altered Carbon is still my favorite show.

Absolutely loved season 1, literally slept through 2nd, why was it so bad?
- The creator of the show was also the co-showrunner for season 1. Season 2 only had the other, non-creator showrunner, who apparently said in an interview that she wanted season 2 to be "less Bladerunner", more "Chronicles of Riddick".
  
  I think that explains what happened pretty succinctly.
- Honestly I'm not sure why it was such a drastic quality drop, but jesus christ it was,
- I think a lot of it had to do with the way the books were so different. The first was a neonoir cyberpunk detective story, the second and third book were planet spanning adventure with some alien things going on and more body swapping which is hard when you have a main star in the show.

Foundation on Apple TV+, beautiful, complicated, epic sci-fi. I’m rewatching the first season whilst the second is getting released week by week.

Is it based on the Asimov books? I'll have to... Eh-hem... Acquire it.
- Honestly Apple TV+ is a pretty good service; Silo, Severance, Physical, Shrinking, Mythic Quest, For All Mankind and Invasion are all worth a watch, and that’s just the stuff I’ve seen.
  
  I would recommend at least taking a trial for a month, there is less stuff but it’s a lot higher quality than much of the junk on Netflix.

The Witcher

rewatching Arrested Development which I havent rewatched since early streaming Netflix if memory serves. It is really just as quick and ridiculous as I remembered, loving every bit of it!

Lost, The OA, The Office

The OA looked interesting, but I haven't looked into it beyond the autoplayed trailer. Do you have a 1 sentence description/comparison?
- Metaphysical cerebral drama. The only unfortunate thing I will say about the show is it fell victim to the Netflix ban train. It was meant to have 5 seasons and only got 2. The creators have been very vocal and consistent with saying they want to bring the end to us no matter what though.
- I thought it was pretty awful. It's incredibly pretentious and just generally really stupid. End of season one was honestly pretty embarrassing, and the fact that anyone liked it is honestly baffling

So, we just finished The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

It was fun to watch it again with all of our knowledge of the future. One episode, Will Smith was dancing with Chris Rock in drag. "I have a feeling this relationship won't end well..."

Watching Vikings for the first time - loving it! The violence is absolutely thrilling and it’s so well done otherwise.
