And what is a danish, I'm a Dane and doesn't now what a danish is? Is it flæskesvær?

Laminated sweet pastry with some sort of filling.

2 0 ReplyYes in Denmark wienerbrød is a morning cake. We use the term cake a bit different: kage(cake) meaning danish: sweet pastries that are especially served with coffee or tea or as a dessert come in many different sizes and types.
