For how long do you think you could keep a police marked car where you live before getting busted?

Imagine you had a car and somehow you manage to paint/mark it so it's identical to any other police car in your area. Assuming you don't use the siren lights ( or, hell, it's your car, do whatever you want) for how long you reckon you can drive that around before someone picks up on it?
