I've been a bit busy with travel, but I did bring a cube with me and did a few casual solves while on buses, trains, etc.
I've just mostly been doing random 3x3 solves here and there while life is a bit busy at the moment. I'm averaging 15-16s now, very out of practice.
You'll prolly find yourself faster once you get back to it. Taking a break helps with getting out of ruts ime.
Cubing in random places is the best!
Has it sparked any interesting conversations?
Haha, not on this trip.
Though a couple years ago when solving a cube on a train, I was approached by a young boy who had a 3x3 he couldn't solve, and I ended up sitting with him for a while. He didn't speak much English, but he knew colours and orthogonal directions, and he had enough interest for me to teach him how to solve the first layer.
I've never seen him again, and I sometimes wonder if he became a cuber.
What have folks been up to these past few weeks?
