how do i federate with this instance?

I just made a new instance but I have no clue how to federate with others like you, an inclusive community and see their posts and such. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask

Once you do get everything set up and working, all you'd need to federate is to start subscribing to some communities. If you're not "listening", you won't "hear" anything.
The domain you linked isn't a public domain. It's only visible within your local network
- im trying a different domain because this domain cutecafe.nohost.me doesn't work
  
  Are you installing this on a computer in your house? Because this seems to be a residential IP.
