I don’t know much about them, but saw this on a hike and thought you folks here might lichen it!

Beautiful, I could have spend all day staring at those rocks.
If you see these guys, the air quality is good!
- This is the view above the rock- that’s coastal fog, not smoke there. Some of the best air quality in the area I imagine.
  
  Feels comfy, abouts how long did you end up sitting there? When I get views like these, I can't seem to move for at least thirty minutes. But sometimes an hour or so. Before I start the trek back.

  Lichens are sensitive to pollution, so cannot grow in places with bad air quality. As far as I know. Perhaps someone else can elaborate?
