All I could glean from the original graph was that it is a European country, but I couldn't find which one it is. I'm guessing it's probably Sweden but IDK

Based on the graph on page 37 (from the same analysts but a different data source), that country is probably Norway or Sweden.

No, what a ridiculous thing to say. Wasn't something like this posted months ago? China will be the world's first electro state. Until it becomes an e-fuel exporter, this comparison is really unwarranted.

apart from Iceland?
it's of course a far greater achievement for China, Iceland uses 70% of its electricity to make aluminum for tax-dodging multinationals
Listen, Iceland is cheating by sitting on top of two tectonic plates that are drifting apart, and is effectively the world's largest hot plate.
The headline doesn't say "major" (emphasis mine) but the Financial Times article they're sighting does, so there's that.
