Regardless of whatever bullshit the officials involve pedal, I'm going to believe this was one of Musk's toadies trying to sabotage Stephen Miller's passion project

They are already building a $250 million facility in Guantanamo to hold 30,000 people. For context, the average maximum security prison in America holds 800-1200 prisoners. The largest, in Angola, LA, hold about 8300. So the new Guantanamo facility will hold almost 4x more than the largest prison, which is already several times larger than average.
Clearly, they want to detain a LOT of people, outside of the prying eyes of the courts and the media.

  Hold implies eventual release. Those people will never see the outside again. That is going to be a death camp in record time.
100% chance musk was behind this.
This can really only go one of two ways, either musk gets what he wants or musk is destroyed by the "government" he helped create.
I know a lot of people want Musk and Trump to destroy each other, but the reality of the situation is that Elon only has the power that Trump gives him, and Trump has the power to send musk to CECOT.
