After watching the Veritasium video - yep. Effectively all water on Earth is poisoned with a variety of man-made bio-accumulating carcinogens, including PFAS. Even freshwater sources thousands of miles from any industry is poisoned. Somewhere between 98 and 100% of all humans alive have a measurably higher cancer risk because of it.
As a bonus, most of this pollution was done long-after DuPont and 3M realised these chemicals were long-lasting, leaching into water supplies, and poisonous at smaller concentrations than they could even measure. But they did make a lot of profit!

I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
The study is more accurately characterized as "We tested beer in areas where we knew the municipal water supply was contaminated with PFAS and sure enough there were PFAS there." It's worth noting because it's not like anyone is doing any testing and people don't really think about where their beer comes from, but it's not like it's particular to beer. You'd probably get the same results with soda unless for some reason soda manufacturers are RO'ing their water.
The more Republican-y the nore cancer-y
Good to see they’re at least having a little fun with otherwise pretty downer subject matter
