I think I have finally found a generation gap that I think is real; old people like me would rather read than watch. A lot of my students would rather watch than read.
What's the scoop?
My big takeaway was there have been a lot of changes to medical policy at the cprporate and congressional levels as a result of this case.
Why post a 14 minute video for what is probably a 3 minute read?
Why post a video in the video community?
If you came here to read you're in the wrong place.
For the same reason I'd attend a meeting and complain afterwards that it could've been an email, despite knowing that I was going into a meeting.
I think it's reasonable to expect the video formats to only be used when it's a good medium for communicating whatever it's communicating.
People who post articles provide a summary of the article. So maybe you should post a video summarizing the video you think we should watch?
Seems like a good use of a 14min to me. More Perfect wasn’t burying the lead in this video at all.
FYI the phrase is “burying the lede”.
