    • I downvoted because there is no link and the post is named "jew stuff". Without further context, I assumed the removed post was in fact anti semitic and deserved to be removed.

Honestly, I would have downvoted just because it seems very low effort. I shouldn't have to comb the modlog to understand what this is about.

      • here this was the post

theres a lot of stuff going on with this jew stuff and it intersects with politics and power in some pretty wild ways and i mean whats going on with the palestinians and the israeli government and zionism is just a total disaster and it seems like the jewish community is all about WOKE social justice and human rights but then you look at how israel treats palestinians and its like whats the deal with that and i think thats a pretty big contradiction

        exceptionalism

and then theres this whole thing with jewish identity and exceptionalism and chosenness and i get where its coming from historically and culturally but sometimes it feels like its used to justify being better than everyone else or something and thats just not cool because actually im the chosen one

        right and wrong

i think we need to have a real conversation about judaism and jewish identity and how it fits into our society and we need to be able to criticize zionism and the israeli government without being called anti semitic and at the same time we need to be honest about how jewish identity and culture can be used to perpetuate privilege and exclusivity because you know what maybe semiticism is bad

        were being silenced

it could be really good for everyone regardless of who they are or where they come from if we could discuss this stuff and prove that my religion is better but its hard to have that conversation when everyone gets so defensive and it feels like were not allowed to even talk about it and thats just absurd

who is behind all this thats the question
