I stopped using AI for code when i realized it found multiple similar stack overflow threads and mushed their "solutions" together into fake code that wasn't anywhere close to compiling.
Waste of time
ChatGPT made me so annoyed with its hallucinations, that I just went ahead and read the source code of the library I was using.
A guy at work asks chatgpt to give him info about hardware...and then has to double check it because it's wrong all the fuckin time.
It's pretty good if you use it as documentation then ask it to show you the source.
Still not great, but pretty good.
