Well, that was certainly unexpected. A surprise, but a pleasant one.

This is why Republicans gerrymander so hard: metropolitan areas are liberal.
- this is not true in general. I am not denying this, but in india, many indian metropolitans voted for conservative party (we do not have a 2 party system, so it is hard to call 1 party as conservative, but current govt is definitely very conservatives)
