The fact that they are begging users to use Premium and then overcomplicating process for no reason, makes me want to never try to buy this crap again.

Yeah. I just assumed OP mistyped during their rage. Otherwise, if google somehow found a way that would require people to refund THEM to cancel a subscription... that is pure evil but it is amazing design.
Although, I guess anything short of mind reading and changing the terms of service to match whoever subscribes is the way to go.
