Hey question for europeans as a USian here, what is that thing hitting the bus with the word "Zangenduetsch" on it?
Is it like a big self driving car on a track or something?
- its like the hyperloop but without vacuum, better suited for mass transportation, easier to build and maintain, able to transport booth passengers and freight but with the big difference: it actually works

- It's a style of writing German used primarily in ich_iel. The name is a word play on tongs (German Zange) and tongue (German Zunge, or, as a synonym to language, Sprache). Zangendeutsch uses as many English words as possible, but translates them in the most ridiculous manner possible. The word Zangendeutsch itself is a nice example: die deutsche Sprache = the German tongue => the German tong = Zangendeutsch. There is a tiny community reverting this principle, using English vocabulary with German phraseology: i_itrl. Check it out to get an idea of the effect.

That's gotta be fairly easy to get right once you know what's going on. It's basically just deliberately inadequate word for word translations.
I mean, it could make it easier
- I have been learning about trains recently and I don't think it is fair to expect trains to make busses jobs easier
We should like set up a discord where we set specific channels for languages and do the whole integrated learning thing.
Or maybe I should play Elden Ring in different languages
Or watch Star Wars in different languages
- "The Simpsons" has been translated into so many languages it's basically a televised Rosetta Stone.
