I think many people also aren't aware that you still have legal obligation to pay taxes to the US even if you move outside of the US. You'll have to pay income tax to the US and whatever country you move to. Double tax burden.

its even harder if you dont have a degree. The only people who really can get out are white collar types. Trade certs dont mean too much abroad + you have to have a job offer before you can get a work permit in most places ive looked at.
