Fuck google and all that, but also fuck using "mental illness" as a derogatory term.
- My bad, I reposted this because of the recent Google stuff without considering that issue. I'll remove it if anyone asks.

- Yea! I prefer collecting mental illnesses like Pokemon to detract from people who actually have them!
- i thought it's supposed to be one of those memes that parody lgbt-phobic images about genders (see attached image), but still, make sure to avoid that usage
  
  I'd never seen that other meme, and it could be a parody, but lets be fair - ableism and saneism are absolutely rampant on all sides of the political spectrum, and it's probably a coincidence rather than a parody...

- I didn't make the meme, but closed-source browsers should all be a no-go. Plus, OS exclusivity is never great.
  
  True, but at least its engine, WebKit, is open source and a few other open-source browsers are based on it. Also it works on Linux.
  
  Brave and chromium are Fully open source though (I know this meme is about the dominance of Chromium based browsers not open Source or not)
- I know it used to be cross-platform, but at this point its clearly proprietary and is only available on macOS and iOS.
  Apple uses their walled garden approach to limit a lot of things, including forcing all browsers on iOS to use WebKit to render. So it really limits other browsers ability to compete with Safari because they can't as easily add new features (including better access to ad-blocking). That's finally going to be changing, but mostly because of being forced to do so by the European Union. Apple is just fairly anti-competitive in certain ways is all, and certainly has been with their browser for a long time.

Can someone inform me what's wrong with the brave browser?
- It's chromium and the company sells telemetry data to advertisers. It's quite literally doing the thing it draws users in with.
  
  What? I agree with a lot of the Brave criticism and don't think they're perfect by any means, but saying they "sell telemetry data to advertisers" is just false and a completely baseless claim.
  
  Is Firefox not also using chromium?
- Chromium based (which may be a pro or con depending on who you ask).
  Their CEO has made homophobic political donations and resigned from Mozilla due to backlash for it.
  They have been caught doing shady things like inserting affiliate links into the address bar suggestions.
  They use their browser to push their crypto currency, news and other garbage.

- Pale Moon. Its a fork from Firefox three if I recall correctly. I'm not sure if its still maintained
