Summary
Minnesota Republican state Sen. Justin Eichorn, who introduced a bill classifying "Trump Derangement Syndrome" as a mental illness, was arrested for allegedly soliciting sex from a minor.
Police say Eichorn believed he was meeting a 16-year-old girl but was actually texting undercover officers. His arrest came just a day after he and four other Republican senators introduced the controversial bill.
Eichorn, who is married with four children, was booked into jail and will be transferred to the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center.

I think what amazes me the most is that is seems like every single maga politician is an absolute garbage person. You'd think sheerly by statistics there would have to be one who isn't but apparently that isn't the case.
- The thing about rightwing politics/christian politics, is that it is obsessed with women's purity, and who's the most likely to be pure? A literal child. Combine that desire for "purity" with refusal to hold people accountable, and it's no wonder it consistently attracts the most vile pedophiles.
  Consequently, all of the homophonic and transphobic "groomer" stuff is actually just an appeal to their pedophile base, because if they can deflect the meaning of the word groomer, if they can water it down enough, then the Matt Gaetzs of the world can get away with it easier.
  
  Fetus=sacred. The mother should die to save one.
  Post pubescent child=corrupted by sexuality. Healthcare is commy stuff.
- The MAGA platform is inherently hateful, bigoted, selfish and shortsighted. It is lead by greedy amoral narcissists and sociopaths and preaches contempt for law, ethics and personal integrity. All issues are a matter of us vs them, so when one of us does something that gets called out by them, the problem is with them calling one of us out.
  Anyone who is still a MAGA supporter has already excused the inexcusable more times than they can count. Those with a moral compass left a long time ago. Sure, there will be people who barely pay attention and who are genuinely ignorant of what the party they support is actually doing. But those people aren't the ones running for office or actively participating in political organizations.

  I'm choosing to assume that by "good" you mean "successfully inconspicuous".

In maga's eyes, Trump has made just about all their own criminal and amoral activity acceptable. They think it is now perfectly fine to be a felon, rapist and pedophile, to steal from charities and small businesses, and to use taxpayer's money to line their own pockets. Trump has become their gold standard.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is real, but just like everything with the GOP it's projection. Holding an evil, vile human being such as Trump up as something to aspire to, and expecting others to treat him and others like him as decent, honorable human beings is indeed deranged.

Willfully blind to the fact that their party is the party of diddlers, where there almost isnt a day that goes by where some new right wing piece of shit is in the news for kid diddling. Even their own orange idol has admitted to being a pedophile with his weird sexual attraction to his then underage daughter, plus his constant walking in on the teen pagent contestents while dressing/nude. Not to forget the testimonies from then children of what they did to and for him on Epsteins island.

Well, that's one way to get rid of Republicans. Let's see how many we can get like this.
