Yup. Buying our own and fostering our economy and development is the best way to get ahead of the curve.
We often prioritized american stuff, especially on the defense and digital products front, and thanks to our support and mass adoption they managed to refine the quality and competitiveness of those products.
It's time to prioritize and further develop our own stuff, suited to our needs.
Obviously France has an interest here and are looking to capture billions from other EU countries into their defense industry, but it just so happens to be in the best interest of the rest of the EU as well.
The EU needs to pass a bill with massive subsidies for local military equipment to boost it's war readiness, and sever the dependency on the US.
