Saying without saying is still saying. Reddit mods may be stupid, but not that stupid.
Do you think you can trick the rules by just prefacing everything with "I am not say, that..."
But is even mentioning Luigi against the rules? Do reddit rules ban the mention of any murderer (and he's not even convicted), like Gacy or the Menendez brothers, or just ones that killed a millionaire?
Truth is tech bros like pigboy steve don't want to be reminded that they're giant pieces of shit, so of course they don't have consistent rules.
Sure, but all of the double speak and dancing around words that the right does goes unpunished on the site.
Doesn't justify doing so as well. It should be punished the same way. But don't complain about you being punished, but justice being served unequally.
I'm all for equality. Equality doesn't punch down, though. The rules don't get to punish one group first and then say, "Well, we'll get to that other group, too. Don't worry about them." If there isn't equality throughout, then it's just favoritism. If Reddit wants to have rules, then Reddit should abide by them at all times. If you think it requires too much effort to police that site, post something that falls hard left, and something that falls hard right, and see which one gets removed first. The site, as its core, is unequal.
