Cops showing who they actually serve
Cops showing who they actually serve
Cops showing who they actually serve
to be fair they also do this for people who get threatened with rape or other forms of violence.
oh wait no they don't.
It's so nice of the police to form a barrier to keep unsuspecting people from shopping at a Nazi store
Or from returning their EVs bombs to the EV bomb store.
Imagine risking your life to protect a cybertruck
Please let this picture be in grade-school history books for this section of history.
Can they do the same at every Tesla dealer 24/7??
It's easier for those cops to stand around than doing anything useful for society.
They get paid either way.
But with all the cops in one place, how are they going to get their quotas in?
Acab
There are good cops and there are old cops. There are no good, old cops.
My God that was a depressing read. Just evil triumphant
The question would be if they would deploy so many police troops to your local, small business or if this is just a benefit of being an oligarch.
I haven't seen evidence of police troops deployed like this to a small business so it's logical to conclude it's a benefit exclusive to oligarchs.
It's always so damn obvious who they protect and serve. Some people just refuse to see it.
Might as well do a nazi salute while they're at it.
This makes no sense other than politics...
If you ignore politics, why would there ever need to be that many cops there like that?
Like why isn't 3 or 4 enough, or even 1 or 2?
A presence to deter a problem makes sense, this is like a comedy sketch.
The problem is not they’re protecting a Tesla showroom. They should stop any and all possibilities of violence. That’s their job. The problem is that they wouldn’t show up for you or your neighborhood small business if they faced the same possibility of threat.
I also doubt that a dealership nested in an urban center is going to be targeted by arsons. They're just there to stop vandalism, something the dealership could do themselves by hiring night guards. Instead, the tax payers are paying.
The SS la
Fuck the police that put companies over people. If you’re one of those cops… fuck you.
Those cops have more important places to be.
there's a black person in the area to shoot?
A job hunting workshop?
To serve and protect rich Nazis.
hey! they would also protect rich secular fascists and poor nazis. give them the credit they deserve.
Class traitors.
American tax payers dollars being diverted to support private organizations while its social services are being gutted.
Musk is a Nazi, and the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi.
My last comment on this:
Nah, most likely Tesla money. Most often when you see police performing a "private" function like this they're being paid by the requesting party.
Just like cops escorting a funeral procession or directing traffic for a church or private school, they're paid by whoever requested the service. Police departments are like any business. They got payroll to meet, obligations to cover, etc. They can't just yank cops from their normal duties for shit like this. They use off-duty or "*retired" officers.
Say what you will about capital hiring rent-a-cops, but they're probably not doing this on our dime.
Buddy of mine was briefly a cop, could still strap on the uniform to escort a funeral or the like.
As much as your comment is the truth. It'll get buried in the circle jerk of ACAB and the ignorance of your tax dollars at work crowd.
Yep. Only way to end fascism is to end fascists.
Shit, we're paying 18 million of our tax dollars for fat Cheeto man to play golf.
Support the oligarchs
That's an overkill way to promote "Don't buy a Tesla".
The function of the police is social control and protection of property.
The police is always there to protect the status quo. And if the status quo means people and the world are being bled dry by a few psychopaths, then the police are a tool of these oppressors.
Cops are employed to protect rich people's property, nothing else.
Was there a threat made against that location? Or did they decide to waste the time of every police officer putting them there as a precaution?
if they're standing in a line, they're not raping murdering kidnapping or stealing anyone/anything. I'm fully in support of them doing this.
I'd rather have them being useless guarding a nazi store then out amongt the public causing trouble and abusing citizens whilst utterly failing to do their jobs with any level of professionalism.
This is more effective and less risky than actual vandalism. Stand out there and be our protest. Good work, cops.
Yup. As seen in NYC.
So sad to see What Poland and other former communist countries saw 40 years ago…
I wish someone would run them over with a truck, GTA style
This is actually legal in some States now
The ultimate laugh would be an out of control autonomously driving car running them all down.
Gouranga
We need a new 2D GTA game
May be a good time to draw some inspiration from Ukraine's use of drones.
That is an excellent use of police resources.
Indeed. Clearly these idiots are badly in need of some military gear. Maybe some armored vehicles. Look how ill equipped they are for the heavy burden of guarding that sidewalk.
I'm curious how destroying Tesla dealerships hurts them. They have insurance, and are reimbursed after a claim. I get it shows how upset and discontent people are with the company. Am I missing something more?
Several ways, although it’s not enough:
I love this shit because it means the pigs aren't on the streets. Also makes for one large target.
they're protecting the building and people working there?
I’m as anti-fascist as the next person, but protecting a company from vandalism isn’t as fascist as you seem to want to think it is. Vandalism is illegal. They are law enforcement. That’s how that relationship works.
Would you say the same thing if they stood in front of a business that was under threat of being vandalized by MAGA clowns because they are publicly pro-diversity? At best I’d say the argument lies in the fact that they probably don’t need that many people, but we don’t really know what the reason was to load up that many stooges to protect that particular location.
Maybe some dumbass called in a threat?
Either way… go on and downvote away. I’m fully aware this isn’t the place for nuanced discussion.
if they stood in front of a business that was under threat of being vandalized by MAGA clowns
That "if" carries a heavy load.
But it doesn’t.
Would you say the same thing if they stood in front of a business that was under threat of being vandalized by MAGA clowns because they are publicly pro-diversity?
Show me that news article.

Show of fascist force.
Maybe some dumbass called in a threat?
Yeah, Elon.
Show me that news article.
It’s a hypothetical. Look around. Communities like this use hypotheticals as the entire basis of their arguments seemingly ALL the time.
Show of fascist force.
By account of excessive use of persons? I’d agree. It’s wasteful. But stepping aside and allowing people to vandalize property just because it aligns with your personal belief is now how things work. This opens the gates for others to justify destroying your shit because they disagree with it.
Oh, and it doesn’t take being “Elon” to think it takes a dumbass to threaten physical damage to a person or place because they disagree with the owner’s politics-
It just takes being a mature adult that understands how nuance works.
This wouldn’t be a problem if showrooms for direct to consumer car buying was illegal too.
EDIT: In case you aren’t aware (not sure if this has changed in the last decade), in a handful of states, approximately 17 (maybe less) do not allow direct to consumer dealerships. This means in states that have laws against this, the manufacturers can not operate a dealership which they sell the vehicle. So effectively Tesla must conduct their sales entirely online. Since laws very from state to state, so much as discussing pricing can be illegal. If states are gonna ban the dealerships then why not just make the showrooms illegal too?
Shilling for us all to go through useless lying middlemen for car buying? Yeah no thanks pal.
I’m not saying you’ll want it, just that it could stop these Tesla showrooms from existing.
