Did his visit have any consequence?
- He got treated like a school kid, Donald Trump gave him back the letter and told him to read it to him. This was I think preceded by Trump telling him they would be fucked by Russia if not for US. All the while Keir Starmer got deeper and deeper shades of red and purple while trying to smile through Trump's humiliations. It was sad, perhaps even more than Zelensky who at least managed to slip in a couple kicks to the groin despite being in a much more difficult political landscape.

  It's like a netflix subscription, except the BBC has a history of making actually good content.
  Having said that, I don't watch TV anymore. Just streaming.
  I kinda wish there was a way to support only the radio side of it. I listen to a lot of BBC 6music.
- Why? You need a license for everything these days. I had to accept an EULA to install an app so I could RSVP to a wedding recently.
  The only mad thing is that the TV license is opt-out and they assume the entire country watches BBC 1
