I've really been searching for how to make a difference. I do have spare time I just don't know what to do with it always. I think recently I've made really good progress there. No, I'm not joining the democrat party, I believe that the DNC is a sunk cost and it would be a waste of good political capital. What I want is to build community but I'm an introvert and people are more insular than ever.
Anyway, I started to reach out to volunteer organizations and found one that I liked (no strong links to religious orginizations) and was accepted into that organization. I'm hoping to get plugged into that community and be able to network more with my local community.
To me, there is no saving our constitution. When the "constitutionalists" have already distorted it to serve their personal preferences there's nothing you can do. They will keep entrenchings themselves and as you can see we have oligarchs raiding the executive.
Anyway, I am plugging myself in and waiting for everyone to come to terms with the new world order.
