WGA strike: Hollywood studios send writers 'best and final' offer as deal nears on strike | CNN Business

It's worth remembering that the WGA negotiation team is in a self-imposed media blackout during negotiations. Anything we hear is from the studios.
- “We’re offering a formal draft of the deal we negotiated, but we’re going to tell the news the strikers caved.”
I don't think that word(s) means what they think it means.

  What are you a scab!? No shows until the strike is over!
- I mean, assuming the writers agreed to this deal, then technically the deal is the final deal, and presumably it's the best offer since the writers agreed to it.
