Core Ultra 9 285K is faster in Linux than in Windows
The talk is that the Core Ultra 9 285K works better with Linux than Windows. What's your experience? And how well does it work with Proton?
My experience has been that all CPUs work better for gaming on Linux than on Windows, because Windows is surprisingly wasteful of system resources, including CPU time.
Of course, there are still a few games that don't work well on Linux, no matter what CPU you have. If those are important to you, then the question of which is faster might not matter.
And most Linux Desktops Use less ram and cpu then windows (For Example: Gnome about 1.6Gb KDE about 2gb (with Kwin effects))
Use OpenBox by far an extreme minimal DE
