Microsoft closes the door on Windows 11 supporting older hardware
Microsoft is sticking to its strict hardware requirements.
It's too bad there's not a FOSS OS alternative out there.

People are also confusing supporting with works. I’m running Win 11 on non-TPM hardware now and have been for 2 years. No jank, just straight up works like you’d expect.
what they're reiterating here is that they absolutely won't back down (from the requirement) regardless of how many people beg them to.
the loophole still works... doesn't mean it will keep working next year or the year after.
Windows 10 IOT LTSC is the way to go for people who don’t want to use Linux.
