Mexico suggests it would impose its own tariffs to retaliate against any Trump tariffs
President Claudia Sheinbaum says Mexico could retaliate with tariffs of its own, after President-elect Donald Trump threatened to impose 25% tariffs on Mexican goods.
This goes without saying, every country will levy retaliatory tariffs. It's one of the reasons random tariffs are such a stupid idea to begin with.
