We don't know that yet.
I expect it to go the way of Germany one century ago. If conservatives make authoritarian, bloodthirsty, change too quickly they run the risk of an armed revolution and civil war.
If they go slow and calculated over the next 10-20 years, like a serial killer, they can gradually shift the overton window to where your neighbors not only vocally support murder and terrorism, but actively facilitate or engage in it. They can indoctrinate the next generation to be the executioners, and follow through with what their parents were never capable of.
In 20 years millennials and gen z will be 30-60 year olds, you know, the people mostly in control of stuff
