Have you ever wondered if your keyboard shortcuts are set up optimally? Well, I did, so I decided to visualize it with a heat-map.
It proved to me that I rely on my left pinky too much, so I'll try to rework my shortcuts.
You can check out the project here, currently it only works on Linux.

Why is caps lock your most used key?
4 0 ReplyI'm assuming blue means a key is more used, so it's showing Caps never gets used. enter doesn't make sense though, so maybe it's only showing key combinations?
1 0 ReplyNo, the red is more used, I just have Caps remapped to control

You press Caps Lock more than return. Do you do a lot of shouting in the comments section?
I am genuinely interested in what you use it for. i assume it a programming things I'm not aware of.

7 0 ReplyMy caps is backspace, try it and you'll never look back (though Ctrl is good too). It's actually part of the colemak layout that I use.
3 0 ReplyMy caps lock is remapped to ctrl+c. I'm pretty sure I use it more than the enter key.
