Better optics than layoffs, and no severance is due. Seems like a great win for corporate.

  I don't think the law is very strict. Sometimes the answer is yes.

Office work is unfulfilling and mentally exhausting. If they paid me even close to what I make in a corporation at a tire shop Id rather work at a tire shop.

My workplace is closing jn January and I don't plan on looking for another job for some time

  I'm a bit of a homebody so absolutely yes, I need to get out there while I still can
I just quit my job on Wednesday, felt great!
I think there’s was a bit more affordability and therefore flexibility right after Covid. For a brief moment there. We had some savings and still lower borrowing payments. Now I’m not sure we can afford to revolt. Or I can’t anyway.
