It's not legal. Do you think prison gangs have ever been legal?
The KKK is legal. Prison gangs are legal. There nothing banning the existence of a gang as that apparently impedes first amendment rights.
What is illegal is the various things these gangs do.

Noticed that a lot of people browse lemmy through all so they downvote things they dont like not knowing it fits in the context of a specific lemmy community. Kind of a shame tbh.
What's the point of creating a post linking to the Wikipedia page for the Aryan Brotherhood, with a subject line "Aryan Brotherhood" if you're not going to elaborate any further? What was the point of the post in the first place?
