Elon Musk announced X and SpaceX HQs will leave California after the state has passed a law banning the outing of trans students.
Because of this law and the many others that preceded it, attacking both families and companies, SpaceX will now move its HQ from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas.” Later, he added: “And X HQ [currently in San Francisco] will move to Austin [also in Texas]… many will follow.”

this is the weakest and most bland law against child abuse possible. they're not making it illegal for someone to abuse their own children for being trans, they're not making it illegal to out children for the sake of getting them abused, the state is just not actively forcing teachers to be complicit in child abuse. the fact that it's possible to frame it as controversial shows how deeply everyone despises transgender people as well as abused children.
