Sounds like a new wave of paranoia purges are on the way.
As long as Russia has enough troops willing to fight to force the rest to advance at gunpoint, they can go on in some capacity.

Can you blame them? The USA has been developing their weapon systems for the past 60 years in response this exact "Russian Horde" scenario.
Chances of survival are slim.

Sounds a bit like wishful thinking.
