This isn't a particularly original take, but America/NATO really is just a religion for a lot of people, huh? Like, domestically, most people recognize that America is deeply flawed and needs fixing, but as soon as that switches to international, every Gulf of Tonkin/WMD is forgotten and they gobble up whatever comically obvious propaganda is given.
This has been really blackpilling to me, it took barely any effort to whip like 95% of the American populace into a a complete bloodlust. I've seen one person on my social media come out with a reasonable anti-NATO take, and she is normally wrong about everything, she just happens to be from another country that got fucked by NATO (Serbia).
Even the suggestion that this situation might be more nuanced than "Putin bad" is met with overwhelming hostility.
Most Americans don't care at all. I work with mostly blue collar white guys who vote Republican and they don't care about this at all except for the hardcore conspiracy guys who think this is all because of Hunter Biden being on the board of a Ukrainian company lol.
