I use windows boxes all the time every day and have since windows 3.1 and I've never used cortana.
I don't know of anyone who has. Ever.
I used it once. When it first came out. When imaging 125 machines at once.
Just turned the volume up and let all the Cortana’s just yammer away at the same time.
It was beautiful.
I then shut them all down and Reimaged them with an image that had it disabled by policy.
I tried to use it once and it didn't work so I just forgot about it.
