Can you install custom roms?
- In general, the bootloader of US and Canadian models can't be unlocked. You can with other regional variants, regardless of Snapdragon or Exynos.
  
  it should be mandatory for samsung to make the bootloader unlockable regardless of region. S24 is already dismissed for me. imagine not being able to run the software you want on the phone you bought
- I doubt it, at least in the US. Samsung tends to be pretty locked down.
