Since it has been four weeks since the last general discussion thread, I thought it was time. I started doing general discussion threads over in /c/anime@lemmy.ml and thought I might as well go ahead and do it here too while I am at it.
So, let's hear it! Any hidden treasures you find? Any dramatic tear-jerkers? Any burning questions for other purveyors of the manga arts?
Started a number of titles, the three that stood out to me were:
Elden Ring - manga that follows the game, but comedy. Definitely recommended if you’ve played the game. And if you haven’t, maybe this will inspire you to try the game.
Uglymug, Epic Fighter - started out very strong. The setting is pretty uncommon but enjoyable. I initially thought this is one of those mangas about revenge and characters are mostly assholes, but it is actually quite wholesome. Too bad the ending is lame.
Truth Weavers - non-isekai fantasy. I like the pacing thus far; story is moving along nicely and not dragging. The whole thing is pretty grounded, nothing too crazy going on, but its still a good read.
