It's to get your phones unique identifier /IMEI. Marketing sdks use this to know what to advertise to you.

I wish it was more granular and that they used a hash for IMEI. I'd happily share an IMEI unique hash. I'm not letting it make calls.

Some use it to ban you even if you make another account

Wow, did not know they would get that info as well. Never give permission to it. But it is still a lot worse than I thought
