Everytime I visit Reddit it makes me glad Hexbear exists

I've never even really spent much time on Reddit except for the occasional search result pointing at a thread answering a Linux question or suchlike and I STILL am glad Hexbear exists. I tried a couple Lemmy instances and quickly abandoned ship (holy fucking lib slop) but not before I noticed the hate being heaped on the so called "tankies" of Hexbear et al. who seemed to me to have the most informed and reasonable responses to a given topic. So here I am and here I shall stay. Every thread confirms it.
