I was just thinking that I've mowed the lawn shockingly few times so far this year, between the heat and lack of rain.
Usually June and July are twice a week or more to keep up. This year, there were weeks I didn't mow at all.
I know it's anecdata, but it's a meaningful metric to me...

3 0 ReplyWe made the decision to not even try watering the lawn this year. Guess it was a good call.
3 0 ReplyMy grass is now 100% dead. So we're half my bushes and shrubs at my house. I can't even grow a vegetable garden for the past few years because of the heat, it's just too intense. Even tomatoes don't grow.
