Israel advocate says, ‘I’m OK with as many dead kids as it takes’

The justification for this pointing to the Bible is right on target for christian theocrats.

As a kid in Bible class, I asked several times over the years, in one way or another, why it was ok for God to order killing everyone but when we do war today, killing civilians is a bad thing.

One time, the male teacher arrogantly engaged with me (most teachers were women before that who dismissed me), thinking I was being sarcastic; I wasn't. To clarify, I asked, "Was God wrong to kill them all, or are we wrong today to let them live?" I was told to leave the class after not budging. It didn't make sense to me that both positions could be morally righteous.
