The are just on something different.
Lemmy/femmy etc... Is similar as it it really difficult to understand what you are doing. Just make a simple european social with user friendly interface ffs.
They don't want anything new. Everything has to be presented, as easy as possible and this is how all big Tech works: You get everything very simple and they get all your data (New = Bad).
Good, more money to be made with tutorials explaining it.
They don't know anything but think they know everything. They don't understand and they don't want to. But hating on something that seems different.
