What's your favourite animal?
I don't even need to think about this question. The animal I like the most is, of course, a cat. What is the food that you eat the most?
Pasta! How much do you read?
Atm a fair bit cos I have time. Normally, not even a book a year.
What's your favourite colour?
Turquoise and any shade kinda close to that. Love LOVE it.
What is your favorite holiday?
Good question! I like something with a balance of stuff to do and relaxation with not too much history stuff.
Do you prefer sweet or savoury?
Porque no los dos? Salted chocolate FTW!😁
What was the last hobby you took up?
I passionately agree with you re chocolate. Latest hobby is doing post grads! An unusual hobby but one that fits round my life.
Would you rather listen to a playlist or a podcast?
Do we answer in the same comment thread? Octopus for me! I think they’re beautiful elegant animals and I’m so fascinated by their intelligence.
What was the most recent album in your rotation? :)
Hm, I think Tool Ænima was the last album I listened to start to finish. I normally have a Pandora mix on or a podcast.
On that note, what is a podcast you've binged recently?
I listen to sleep with me every night! Other than that "you're wrong about".
What's the last book you read?
It's Your Funeral! A book that is equal parts comedy, trivia, and preparing for your eventual demise. Highly recommend.
What's your favorite holiday?
Hey OK thanks for the suggestion! I like a balance of stuff relaxation and stuff to do. So part beach part other.
What treat would you buy yourself if you had 50 bucks to blow on it?
Not an easy question at all! My answer would be a book or two. Been eyeing an architecture book, but for this amount could get a heftier one. Maybe about gardening, or construction, or sci-fi, like K.Dick or Bradbury... What kind of weather do like the most (this spring has it all - snow, warm and sunny, rainy, windy, sometimes all in a days work)?
Ooooooh good choices! I read a lot of dystopian stuff so let me know if you want some recommendations.
I love to be inside on a rainy day in autumn, all nice and warm and cosy.
What's your favourite sitcom?
I don't read much, but I'm open to recommendations.
I have to agree with you on the weather, rainy cool days are perfect! Perfect for taking a walk too, the air is fresh, everything smells different, better. And the colours are more vibrant. It is also so quiet, apart form the rain.
Malcom in the middle, it is just so good.
If we are on to the topic of films, which recent films have you seen and what did you like and dislike about them?
Cool, I'd go for Day of the Triffids its one of the original sci fi dystopian. America Dark is on kindle unlimited, quick read and page turner, several good sequels m. Lockdown is great but around the 3rd book gets silly.
I saw Speak No Evil recently it was BRILLIANT. The acting is world class and it's a slow burn with a big pay out.
On films, what was your favourite Disney film as a kid?
Thanks for the recommendations. I have heard of the Day of the triffids, will check it out at some point. I really like old school sci-fi, and the topics they explore. The Illustrated Man is a really good one.
I saw Mickey 17. It was a fun film, similar in essence to the directors other films.
Not really a Disney kid, I did have Pocahontas picture book even though I hadn't seen the film. So that.
But how about series, which ones do you recommend? Maybe you know some more obscure ones to fill the time?
