So. Turkey. Opinions?

Massive protests against Erdogan happening right now because of the arrest of the Istanbul mayor. Our media is pushing it relentlessly which always has me wary.

As far as Turkey goes, I don't really have any opinion which is more progressive than Vlad Tepes after what happened to Syria so I really don't know what to say.
It doesn't matter who's in charge as it won't make any difference as we saw a number of times unless it's outright communist party which has no chances.
Pretty much, I see these young adults dressing up in costumes like it's a carnival, proposing to each over and shit, I mean what the fuck? I was explaining to someone that because they are not correctly organising, it's going to bear no fruit. Clearly, these fools are so dismissive of real change that they're choosing to treat these protests as a chance to get "dad lore" rather than what they should be doing (rectifying the inequality they live under as non-owners). Its so fucking backwards-assed. We are literally watching a congregation of lone individuals who are committing acts of violence against the state. Truly some liberal shit #BringBackDecadance
Same thing in Serbia currently more or less. These mass protests which
First:literally achieve nothing except piss of and annoy innocent old retired people who are trying to live their life and people who are trying to go to work normally but can't since almost all the roads are blocked
And second: don't have any point since dumbasses don't realize that it's not about Vučić and his gang or any other individual politician but the system as a whole. Capitalism is the problem, not some annoying goon which does the same thing everyone else did the past 30 years.
That first and second sound exactly like what happened in Hong Kong.
God forbid you point out either of those facts to them though Kirby, otherwise the state mandated neural pathway between "communism -> bad" will fire like it's the 4th of July down in Alabama.
Though friend, Im curious actually how would the average serbian react to the idea of communism again since the Yugoslavia tragedy in this current climate? I know in turkey it will be dismissed quite quickly mainly because of the efforts the state made by funding right wing groups since the 70s ( Operation Gladio) and instead support restarting the decadence, but I'm not familiar with Serbias situation
That depends, a lot of older people are Yugonostalgic, but a lot of the younger ones are so braindead and deep into fascism, religious fanaticism or libs that there is no point. There's normal people but most of them are older.
I see. That fucking sucks.
