how closely does The Expanse tv serie follow the books?
I'm currently reading the books for the first time, just finished callibans war. I was wondering, should I watch the serie along with reading the books? Does each season represent a book?

I saw the TV show first and loved it and it got me to reading the books. I’ve read the first two books and the first two novellas. Started the third novel, BUT I’ve paused right now to finish reading the Robots/Empire/Foindation series by Asimov.
